Overview
Network Engineer - Central London - £45-£55k Are you a Network Engineer with 5 years' experience in routing and switching? Do you have, or are working towards, the CCNP qualification? Would you like the opportunity to work with a medium sized team of engineers and gain exposure across a large business furthering your knowledge on a broad range of specialities such as IPSEC, EIGRP, VPN, Palo Alto firewalls and multi-layer switching? I'm looking to speak with a network engineer who would be interested in joining a Global Telecoms company who work with household clients on a daily basis, assisting with core network design and architecture, creating accompanying network documentation and be responsible for network security and firewalls. They already have an established team, and due to workload increase are looking to take another ambitious network engineer to join their team and further their skills within this field. You will be onsite on their Central London office location, based near Holborn station. What have you done? You need to have a minimum of 5 years' hands on experience of routing and switching, along with designing and networking medium scale networks. Carrier grade routing and switching is also required, including OSPF, EIGRP and multi-homed Internet access with BGP. You will be working with both internal and external teams, so a professional and commercially aware attitude is important, along with good communication skills, as you'll be required from time to time to deliver presentations and documentation including Visio diagrams. As a Network Engineer you will have: 5 Year's routing/switching experience Cisco ASA/network security appliance exposure Experience with supporting a large network Proven experience on the specification, costing and designing and network solutions What's on offer?
