Overview
GKR are working with one the largest and most successful real estate companies in the UK. With a wide spanning portfolio and development pipeline the business is looking for a recently qualified ACA to join as a commercial Finance Manager to support their long term holdings division. Role: The Finance Manager reports to the Senior Finance Manager They will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting and reporting for the business and will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager Production of the weekly 26 week cash flow forecast for the business Houghton Regis Project - management of the cost reconciliation, accounting for the Houghton Regis management company and raising recharges to Consortium parties Managing the verheads recharge process Preparing management overheads review and forecast schedule Assisting in preparing the shareholder/director review finance report Managing the accounting and passing of funds to JV partners on the Poole project Producing fixed asset project reconciliations for all sites, including additions, disposals and revaluations Accounting for sales and ensuring project margin calculations are correct Accounting for and group managing agents Providing support to project managers and senior management when required Producing Balance sheet reconciliations for appropriate areas of responsibility and facilitating the monthly Group balance sheet boardroom review Liaising with Financial Reporting team to assist in preparation of statutory accounts and assist with auditors and the tax department when required Assisting in Budget work, including variance analysis and budget uploads Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as requested. Skills and Qualifications: A qualified accountant - A recently qualified ACA/CIMA Experience of Real Estate or fixed assets (highly desired) Good business partnering skills
