Fyte are delighted to bring to market an Senior Audit Manager position based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with a leading Professional Services firm. The ideal candidate for the role will be a confident, motivated and experienced Audit Manager to support partners, directors and managers in the delivery of external audit services to a range of commercial, charity and public sector organisations. Key Responsibilities: You would be a senior member of the audit group You would be responsible for the management of a portfolio of external audit clients (with the scope to include commercial, charity and public sector organisations) Management of audit teams and liaison with partners, directors, other management and key client staff. Previous Experience: Experience of managing a portfolio of external audit clients. Recent and significant external audit experience within a commercial, charity or public sector environment. Experience of supervising, coaching and developing audit staff. Proven track record of managing and motivating staff. Professional accountancy qualification. Ability to work on own initiative, possess good project and self-management skills. Effective teamworking skills. Ability to manage client portfolio against agreed budgets, maximise recoveries on client portfolio against agreed targets and prepare fees as appropriate. Experience of managing relationships with senior individuals at a client. Technically proficient. Excellent working knowledge of UK and International Financial Reporting requirements. Ability to analyse complex problems and deliver practical, realistic and workable solutions. Business development experience. Ability to demonstrate the development of an industry network. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage at all levels. Experience of presenting findings to the client. Excellent report writing skills, ability and experience of presenting written reports to a high standard. IT literate; good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
