Overview
THE JOB · £32,000 - £36,000 PA. · Permanent position. · Based in the Doncaster area. · Reporting to the Maintenance Manager. · Responsible for reacting to breakdowns across the site and following a preventative maintenance schedule. · Responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks on CNC machine tools and small furnaces. · You will practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working, offering possible solutions to problems encountered wherever possible. · To diagnose and remedy equipment/plant faults. · You will ensure all breakdowns are carried out constructively and accurately. · Responsible for troubleshooting known and unknown issues related to plant breakdown. THE PERSON · Must be apprentice trained to Level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering. · Will need previous manufacturing experience. · Previous experience working on CNC machines or experience of working in a machine shop would be advantageous. · Must be able to work effectively as part of a team or as an individual. · Excellent communication skills are essential. · The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring Health & Safety standards are upheld.
