Overview
An opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to be working for a well-established manufacturing business in Doncaster. The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will report directly into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for reacting to breakdowns across the site and following a preventative maintenance schedule. Working Hours Monday-Friday - 3 shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am) Positions Available 1 x electrical bias (must have basic mechanical skills) 1 x mechanical bias (must have basic electrical skills) Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Include: Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on CNC machine tools and small furnaces Ensure all breakdowns are carried out constructively and accurately Diagnose and remedy equipment/plant faults Troubleshoot known and unknown issues related to plant breakdown Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working, offering possible solutions to problems encountered wherever possible The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Apprentice trained to Level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering Manufacturing experience Worked on CNC machines previously or experience of working in a machine shop (would be advantageous) This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89648971
