Overview
Our client is a hugely successful, household name - as a result of continued growth and investment they are currently seeking a bright, passionate financial analyst who is keen to work closely with thier buying, merchandising and design function. This is an interesting, broad and commercially orientated role involving extensive business partnering with a number of key non-finance functions Working directly with numerous commercial and finance stakeholders, this role is instrumental in providing analysis to ensuring the business continues to drive upward sales figures and margin opportunities; improving intake margin, reducing markdown, and optimising promotional spend. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner key responsibilities include: Deliver insightful trading analysis B&M Cost reporting and analysis Work to build and to develop continued relevant , value add reporting Ad hoc analysis on key priority topics to improve profitability Working with Commercial teams to support with annual budgets and updating periodic forecasts Provision of direct support with on-going ad hoc commercial and strategic projects It is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at a time where the commercial finance team is being continually strengthened and has experienced rapid growth during the past 6 months You will have the opportunity to work within a 'best in class' team, as part of a positive, upbeat , flexible, driven yet down to earth working environment What is required A 'can do' attitude; finance qualification or overseas equivalent; strong relationship building and analytical skills; desire to broaden your commercial experience within a collaborative culture.
