Overview

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a temporary Credit Controller to join a world class Real Estate firm based in the City of London, this a 12 month contract role. Role As a Credit Controller your primary duties are focused on controlling multiple ledgers: Allocate cash received to the correct account on a daily basis Preparation of weekly and monthly reports, which add value and help make sure cash collection/ allocation issues are resolved Raising the profile of payment issues whenever necessary and ensuring that actions taken are appropriate Covering cash accounting duties in the absence of colleagues e.g. other Credit Controllers or Cashier Set up customer accounts Build relationships with customers finance departments to ensure continuity and communication of problems Work closely with Business Unit and Contract teams to agree the correct communication and reporting lines to the Customers, leaving ownership and accountability with the Contracts, but providing value adding support to proactively influence outcomes Build effective communication lines with direct line manager, indirect line manager, other Credit Controllers and Cashier Profile The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three year's credit control experience, with excellent negotiation skills and be a tenacious character who will carry through initiatives and stick with problem accounts until they are cleared. You must be available on no more than a weeks notice. Company A Real Estate firm with stunning offices, my client is based in an excellent location in the City of London. Salary & Benefits This 12 months contract role will be paying circa £28-32k per annum dependant experience. The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
