Overview
Robert Half is currently working with a Global Marketplaces specialist with a family of local digital brands in 16 countries They are trying to recruit a Finance Manager on a contractual basis at a daily rate of £300- £335 per day. They are looking to bring someone aboard at short notice due to another person within the organisation moving on. The role is varied, so it requires a candidate who is fully capable of handling many areas of accounting. You will be the main contact for the UK side of the business and requires you to deal with many different stakeholders. The Role Making sure that proper bookkeeping routines and internal controls are in place Manage external accountants including making sure that proper review routines are in place Monthly reporting of financials/KPIs to Group Internal invoicing to other group companies Statutory financial statements Statutory tax and VAT work Funding and FX management in cooperation with group treasury Cost controlling Payroll Budgeting and forecasting Point of contact for auditors and advisors Compliance work for the legal entity Your Profile Fully qualified accountant (Ideally ACA/CIMA/CA). Will look at Qualified by experience depending on experience. Hands on experience with a solid understanding of UK Tax. Ideally experience with liaising with senior management within an organisation. Financial and Management accounting experience is vital for this role. Proficiency in Excel The daily rate of £300 - £335p.d will represent either a logical increase or parallel to your current earning potential for the contract. Salary & Benefits As well as the contract day rate of £300- £335 per day, the new Interim Finance Manager and will gain great exposure to a highly professional and deeply commercial team. There will be opportunity to work on multiple projects within the organisation and be the main UK contact for Finance Their London office is walking distance from multiple tube stations.
