Overview
Robert Half is working with a dynamic and innovative Telecommunications business in Central London to recruit a Finance Manager on an interim contract for £325-400 per day. The Role This role will take responsibility for: Reporting jointly to the UK finance Manager and the European Finance Director, you will play a pivotal part in driving the business forward to achieve its growth plans You will help ensuring the business develops and maintains strong financial controls, sound procedures and best practice. Overseeing timely financial and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to improve business efficiency Supporting a team of up to six, you will also be a member of a European wide Finance Team of 12 countries with local responsibility for carrying out risk-based audits primarily under IAS, IFRS101/102 and US GAAP. Your Profile Fully qualified accountant (Ideally ACA/CIMA/CA) Strong technical accounting background, or experience in a Finance Manager role, with a look to turn more commercial would be beneficial You will be accuracy-focused, and results-oriented, seeking a hands-on and rewarding role. The daily rate of £325-400 p.d will represent either a logical increase or parallel to your current earning potential for the contract. Technically strong, able to independently manage finance with little supervision Exceptional organisation and communication skills both written and verbal Clear understanding of controls and processes within a financed function and at all levels, and the ability to align operational processes and financial control A proactive approach to adapting processes to make them easier for everyone as the business changes The Company You will join one the world's leading developer of global mobile satellite communications and telecommunications networks.
