Robert Half Finance and Accounting (Financial Services) are recruiting for a Finance Director a 12 months contract role, based in London. The Company My clients are a commodity trading firm with operations in Europe, the US and Asia. They work in a niche area of the market and continue to be a front runner. They are looking for a hands-on Group Finance Director for the next 12 months. Role Reporting to the CEO and CFO of the group, as the Finance Director you will be responsible for the full finance function along with managing two Group Financial Accountants. Your duties will include the following: Reporting on all entities across the group Finance statement and group consolidations Board reporting and commentary Budget and forecasting, along with long term planning Presenting to the board and partnering with SLT across the group entities Process improvement and streamlining Tax and compliance and management of the Audit process Staff management and development of two group accountants Liaising with HR and treasury departments Some travel is required in this role Your Profile You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified, with prior experience owning the finance function at a Finance Director or Financial Controller level Strong time management and interpersonal skills Group reporting experience a must Salary & Benefits This is an interim contract role based in central London. Based on experience this Finance Director position will be between £500 - £600 a day. The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
