Overview
Position: Workshop Manager (Non productive) Location: Halifax Salary: £40,000 pa Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm - poss 4.30pm finish Shift: Days Due to their continued success, my client is seeking a Workshop Manager to join their team. Working on a modern fleet of vehicles, the successful Workshop Manager will be responsible for a team of around 25 people, made up of technicians, body men and painters. The newest Workshop Manager to join this friendly and welcoming team will be required to: • Ensure smooth running of the workshop by liaising with department team leaders • Oversee all mechanical work within the workshop • Manage all employees in the workshop, ensuring all health and safety guidelines adhered to • Liaising with customers The hours on offer for the successful Workshop Manager will be 7.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. In order to be considered for the role of Workshop Manager, you will hold a full, industry recognised qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle Service, Maintenance and Repair). In addition, you must have experience of leading a team within a workshop environment.
