Overview
Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a leading Insurance Business. The main focus for this position will be maintaining the general ledger and preparation of both the Management and Financial Accounts. Overview of responsibilities: Responsible for the financial accounting of the UK entity Preparing journal entries and balance sheet statements, and reconciling ledger accounts requiring a detailed knowledge of fundamental and advanced accounting concepts. Preparation of annual financial statement in accordance with FRS101 Monthly reporting of financial results to the global headquarters Ensure all internal reporting meets financial statutory reporting and tax requirements Close involvement in special projects: legal entity optimization, ERP system implementation, mergers & acquisitions Structuring, improving and optimizing processes and operations Candidate requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) - QBE candidates will also be considered Ability and desire to build strong working relationships with non-finance stakeholders Strong leadership skills in order to influence key financial insight to key stakeholders of the business For more information, please apply with your CV ASAP.
