To be considered for the role of Learner Mentor, our client is looking for you to have some IT Apprenticeships delivery experience. As the IS Business Analyst Learner Mentor supporting learners to gain their Level 4 IS Business analyst qualification. The primary role of a IS (Information Systems) Business Analysis is an advisory role that provides a critical layer of challenge and scrutiny for organisations who wish to deliver IS change successfully. IS Business Analysis enables organisations to “do the thing right.” The role embodies early and regular investigation and analysis that ensures the right IS solution is chosen to meet the required business need. Given the risk of solutions failing to meet organisational needs, it is crucial that IS Business Analysis is undertaken before projects are initiated. Its your role as the learners' mentor to help them through their qualification and become the best IS Business Analyst they can. You will have knowledge and experience of Investigation Techniques, Business Process modellng, requirements engineering and management, data modelling, gap analysis acceptance testing, stakeholder analysis and business impact assessment. It will be your job to create, strengthen and own relationships with Employers and Apprentices. Manage the progression of a caseload of 40-50 Apprentices. Take overall responsibility for each Apprentice’s journey, providing pastoral care, ensure apprentices are efficiently signposted to the resources they need for success. Provide 1st level functional skills support and co-ordinate 2nd/3rd level help. Organise infill training to support the courses attended by each Apprentice. Ensure that each Apprentice has a record that is accurate and funding compliant. Meet KPIs, including; success and timely success measures.
