Care Assistant (Nights) - Doncaster There are a number of roles available - INTERVIEWS ARE WEEK COMMENCING 23RD MARCH Jake at Amber Mace is currently looking for Care Assistants to join the team at a beautiful residential home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, paying £8.72 per hour. This is a medium sized residential home that provides specialist care for the elderly. The home provides fantastic levels of care and has a compassionate care team who are trained to support and enhance each resident's quality of life. They pride themselves on delivering person-centred care in a dignified manner, promoting independence as far as possible. The shifts would be based on 3 x long shifts per week (8pm-8am) covering 34 hours per week in total. As Care Assistant, you will ideally have experience working in a similar role and have an understanding of the needs of the elderly, some of whom may be living with dementia. The key responsibilities of our Care Assistants include: • Provide a high standard of individual care and personal care to residents at all times • Working well as part of the care team • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to remain calm under pressure • Willing to further professional development by participating in appraisals and team meetings • Adhere to all company and local policies/procedures Qualifications/Experience Required: • Hard working, organised, empathetic, and great attention to detail • Experience with caring for the elderly If you are interested in applying for this role, please apply today for immediate consideration.
