Overview
Harper May is currently working with a leading hotel brand based in Central London. The hotel brand have sites all throughout the UK and have seen their turnover increase year on My client is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to supplement their team. The Finance Manager will have a very rounded remit, making sure the finance function is run efficiently whilst offering sound commercial advice. The successful candidate will be recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and will have hospitality experience. Key Responsibilities: Leading and developing a small team Setting detailed company-wide budgets Full ownership of year end reporting function including the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK-GAAP Balance Sheet forecasting, including forecasting of stock purchases Forecast cash flow positions of the Group including weekly, annual and long range forecasts. Development and implementation of internal controls and financial procedures Main point of audit and leading on tax returns Offering financial leadership in developing commercial strategy and business plans Business partnering with senior stakeholders on operational and strategic issues Desired Skills and Experience: A hardworking and honest individual Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position Highly-motivated and pro-active self starter Ability to work to tight deadlines Degree not necessary but is preferred Must be fully ACA qualified Previous leisure/hospitality experience is required
