The day job You will work within a team focused on delivering service automation to Sopra Steria customers, based around Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and INTUNE. You will work on a number of accounts providing support to the current deployments, spending some time working on customer sites. You will also be involved with new customer tasks under the leadership of the Project Manager, including: solution design, estimating, high level and detailed design work and implementation. You will be there to solution and script automation into the tools and design that are implemented at client sites. Job Requirements: Experience in Desktop management solutions & process (OS management, device management, patching, inventory, reporting) Microsoft Intune and other MDM systems In depth knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager design experience OS Management including MDT, WIM images and WAIK Experience of application packaging and its related technologies and practices. Excellent level of Windows technical knowledge, preferably Microsoft MCP or MCSE qualified. Detailed knowledge of W2K8, W7. W8.1 and W10 Have overview knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and practices. Exhibit excellent communications skills with proven experience of handling difficult customers. Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for delivering an excellent customer service. Strive to over deliver on Service Level Agreements to delight the customer. A positive attitude towards teamwork and contribute to the achievement of Team Goals. The specific skill set for this role would expect at least two accreditations in the relevant tool sets that are supported by the IMSL Tools and Automation team. Essential Skills The following technical skills are required at high level Application Packaging (MSI) Microsoft Application Virtualisation (App-V) Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Scripting (VBScript \ PowerShell) The specific skill set for this role would expect an accreditation (MCTS, MCSE) in the relevant tool sets that are supported by the IMSL Tools and Automation team: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 SC Clearance is required for this hold, all applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain Reasons why you should apply to us We’re big – really big.
