Apprenticeship Programme Manager Our client is an international training firm specialising in development for financial services organisation. Their clients include the world's leading investment banks, insurance companies and asset managers. With offices in the UK, Singapore, Poland, and a significant amount of work in the US and Middle East, they offer global coverage and have delivered across more than 20 countries. Requirement They are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Manager with industry knowledge to join the Programme Management team. The Apprenticeship Manager role will suit someone who has worked within an Apprenticeship or Learning and Development previously. The right candidate must be a highly organised self-starter with excellent attention to detail, a strong client focus, excellent communication skills and experience within apprenticeships and/or qualifications . The role has come about due to recent growth and business expansion, they have created the Apprenticeship Manager role managing the Apprenticeship and Qualification Programmes. Responsible for setting up and managing the apprenticeship delivery, from recruitment through to progression. Key Responsibilities Programme Management. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation. Ensure compliance with awarding organisations. Programme administration and coordinate project work including scheduling, booking venues and booking trainers/coaches. Manage and lead various programme deliveries at once. You may be jointly responsible for any of the following. The areas for which you are primarily responsible will depend on your experience. Administration Maintenance and management of systems; DAS, ESFA, IDAMs Accurately submitting records on a monthly basis to draw down funding. Manage course directory provider portal. Accurately record and manage data. Claiming certificates upon apprenticeship completion. Enrolment Initial assessment to ensure that the apprentice is on the correct apprenticeship and in a role, which will allow him/her to demonstrate the relevant skills and behaviours defined in the standard. Obtain record of existing qualifications. Assessing prior learning and the English and Math level of competency of apprentices. Arrange English and Maths course and/or exams if needed. Adjusting the programme and the funding if any learning overlaps are identified. Determine if there are any needs for additional support to complete the apprenticeship/qualification. Quality Assurance Manage e-portfolio with learner progress; consistently maintain accurate recordings, especially those from trainers/coaches. Monitor the quality of Alpha's provision. Training for staff; Information Advice and Guidance (IAG). Monitor and verify progress of qualifications if included in apprenticeship. Lead any Ofsted visit and maintain the relationship. Ensuring Alpha is prepared for any inspection by producing the Self-Assessment Review (SAR). Produce the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) as a result of the SAR. Monitor the progress of all Alpha's apprentices to ensure that we exceed national performance levels for completion. Report on the apprentices. Manage the process for learner and employer satisfaction surveys. Client Management Be the point of contact for Apprenticeships and qualifications and safeguarding queries. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of programmes. Present to various clients/individuals the detail of apprenticeship programmes to include participant and line manager inductions. Provide excellent customer service to clients and learners. Managing the relationship with the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for the standards that we deliver. Manage the relationship with the awarding body. Key skills The successful candidate will have; Minimum 4 years of experience working in a professional services firm as an Apprenticeship Manager or within learning and development. Experience of financial services a preference but not essential. Experience in apprenticeships desired. Effective communication skills; excellent written and oral skills, articulate and empathetic listener. Brilliant presentation and negotiation skills; will need to be able to confidently lead apprenticeship programmes. Demonstrated capability for coordination, problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness and ability to adapt to diverse situations. Professional manner, positive approach and 'can do' attitude. High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and analytical capabilities. Digitally savvy and able to learn new systems fast. Proficient in MS Office, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Team player and able to work on own initiative. IAG Qualification desired but not essential.
