Overview

Head of Learning & Development Summary We have an exciting new position to head up the department of learning and development. This excellent opportunity requires someone who is passionate and proactive in supporting business objectives and ambitious current and future growth plans. Precious Homes is a national independent and unique care company that offers person centred services to enable people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and physical disabilities community living. This position would cover the areas of the West Midlands, Gloucester, Milton Keynes and London so we are looking for someone who has experience of managing a dispersed team covering these areas. You will have full responsibility for leading, delivering and evaluating the entire spectrum of Learning and Development activities within the organisation. We are looking for someone who is innovative and creative with an ability to design and implement programmes that develop our entire workforce with specific focus on middle and senior management roles. Responsibilities Deliver a best in class learning and development department through coaching, developing and upskilling the regional trainers Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the organisational standards for learning and development and associated compliance levels are met in conjunction with external legislative requirements Deliver training across the entire portfolio within the business Analysis of training needs and requirements across the business Budget management Requirements Experienced learning and development manager across multi sites and ideally within the health and social care sector who has a full understanding of the regulation requirements. CIPD/L&D qualifications or equivalent Full driving licence, access to your own car & ability to travel and work away from home
