Overview
We are delighted to be recruiting for a dynamic & forward-thinking specialist lender based in Central London who are seeking to hire a Credit Underwriter. The company are well-established & have an excellent reputation in the specialist lending market with ambitious growth plans going into 2020 and beyond. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting both Bridging and Development Loans in line with credit policy and their own personal lending mandate. Key responsibilities - Assess and underwrite both Bridging and Development Loans Recommend loans to Senior Underwriting Manager / Credit Committee when they fall outside of lending mandate Make recommendations for changes to the lending policy and processes in line with the company risk appetite Ensure full compliance with policy and procedures, and KYC and AML requirements To be considered for this role, candidates MUST have proven working experience within the Bridging and / or Development Finance sector and will previously have held an underwriting mandate.
