Overview
This growing and people focussed Investment business in central Bristol are looking for an motivated Dividends Administrator to join their team. They are looking customer focused individual to carry out a range of administrative tasks relating to payments, calculation, allocation in line with Dividend payments to Client Accounts. Your experience is key to be able to manage the variety of tasks for this role.Day to day, you’ll be developing positive working relationships (internal and/or external clients) as well, as broader team members so you’ll need good communication.You’ll act as an SME within the team, so you’ll be keen to build your knowledge of products, services and relevant regulations.Providing information, reports and guidance and ensure the completion of a range of standard processes in a timely manner are all vital.You’ll demonstrate initiative in the resolution of more complex and unusual queries and should ensure accurate recording of discussions & correspondence with clients and third party providersOn occasion, there will be involvement with internal projects and contribute to the completion of the wider team workload so flexibility is needed. Key Skills Essential knowledge of securities, foreign securities and dividends Experience performing reconciliations and accounting procedures Experience processing client cash and/or assets Excellent communication skills Highly numerate and competent excel skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Analytical approach to problem solving and decision making A high level of professionalism is maintained at all times Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and CASS rules Candidates with knowledge of taxation and the subsequent reporting, as well as experience using Crest, Bank of New York and Altimis systems,would be of particular interest.
