Overview

My client, a leading content marketing agency, are looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC. My client is a London-based marketing agency that build content that delivers results for clients across a range of sectors. From banking to retail, automotive to technology, they create, build and deliver content across many formats including video, print and social media. As Commercial Manager you will report into and support the Senior Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for controlling the financial and commercial process for a number of client accounts which will require regular contact with the account management teams. You will be required to have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain good working relationships whilst conveying authority. You will also support the analysis of the commercial performance of the clients and report on the financial KPIs to the leadership team while ensuring to drive financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside the senior account management team to create project quotes and annual budgets and to ensure all scenarios are planned. Own and maintain the rate cards for each client account and ensure account managers are using the most up to date rates. Work with the account teams to ensure compliance with the contract inc. reconciliations, invoicing, payment terms are adhered to. Ensure accounts are being run as efficiently as possible to maintain profitability and streamline where necessary. Produce management reports for current revenue, profit and other KPIs. Produce group reports including P&L, balance sheet and working capital reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis and to present these verbally and in writing. Work with senior stakeholders to produce annual, quarterly and rolling forecasts for internal and group management. Ensure that project costs are being recorded accurately and in-line with budgets and that any cost savings are dealt with in line with client contracts. Liaise with the shared service centre to ensure adherence to agreed processes and time-lines.
