Overview
Global Accounting Network are working with a fast-growing, international business within the retail sector. Our client, whose name is the parent to a variety of renowned high street brands, has a requirement for a Financial Accountant months to join the dynamic finance team based in London for an initial period of 12 months. This position reports into the UK Financial Controller and supports the team with all matters relating to statutory accounting. Key responsibilities: Ownership of month-end closure end-to-end. Preparation of statutory accounts for year-end audit. Whole responsibility of the P&L for one of the biggest brands. Balance sheet reconciliations for overseas entities. Aiding with the development of process improvements. Ad hoc requirements. Profile: Fully qualified accountant. Experience with producing statutory accounts and handling month-end close. Excellent interpersonally. Experience within retail is preferable. Strong excel skills.
