Overview
On behalf of a business based in Croydon I am recruiting for a finance officer to join on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Client Details My client is an exceptional organisation based in the centre of Croydon with plenty of parking, they have a large finance team with the opportunity to be extended past the 12 months. Description The successful applicant for this 12 month fixed term contract will get exposure to the following: Manage the banking facilities; to update cash book by identifying and inputting manual payments (pay and non-pay) Check, reconcile, input and allocate the credit card cash-sheets completed by Accounts Receivable Responsible for the deallocation of Bacs rejects, cheques and liaise with the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure the issues have been corrected in time. To reconcile promptly control accounts, preparing and inputting journals To assist the Financial Accountant in producing the annual accounts and to assist Internal and External Auditors as required. Profile To be considered for this 12 month fixed term contract you must posses the following: Exposure to the majority of above tasks Intermediate excel skills with the ability to perform Vlookups and Pivot Tables Ability to start immediately or within a week Job Offer 12 month fixed term contract based centrally in Croydon.
