TECHNICIAN - Lloyds Market C£28,000 An opportunity to join an independent and highly respected Lloyds of London broker, based in the heart of the City of London, possessing over 40 years of expertise in the global insurance markets. Working with clients of all dimensions across the globe, our client places a wide array of casualty, D&O, PI, Property and specialist risks into the Lloyds market. You will be joining the broking team to provide a variety of technical and administrative support functions directly related to risk placement and clients servicing. The use of IMR system is essential. Duties will include, but not limited to; 1.Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner. 2.Process transactions on the Brokasure Enterprise system and prepare evidence of cover in the form of broker insurance documents, contract endorsement documents, and debit notes. 3.Issue formal documentation to clients and insurers. 4.Monitor the timeliness of the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty is achieved and FCA deadlines are adhered to. 5.Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of clients' insurance needs. 6.Perform administrative duties for the department including photocopying, scanning, filing and archiving. Technical knowledge required; ·Knowledge and understanding of the Lloyds insurance market ·Knowledge and understanding of standard policy terms and acceptable market variations i.e. benefits, exclusions and warranties. ·Knowledge and understanding of current market requirements for the preparation of placing documents.
