Paediatric Newly Qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse-Rotation and Non-Rotation options. Are you about to qualify from university? If you are interested in gaining a wide range of skills and having a diverse learning experience as a NQN, then our rotation program is for you. You will be able to rotate around our specialist paediatric areas for 1 year with the support of a comprehensive preceptorship program. For a full list of areas covered in the rotation please see the leaflet attached. We also have fantastic non-rotation options if this is your preference. As a NQN you will be fully supported and developed by our paediatric education team and have a wide range of study days through-out the first year and beyond, to aid your development. As a trust we have been providing specialist care for children and babies for over 100 years at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and before that as Westminster Children's Hospital. We are one of London's largest provider of children's services, caring for over 75,000 children a year in our inpatient, outpatient wards and our Children's Accident and Emergency. We are also the lead centre for specialised paediatric and neonatal surgery in North West London. A major redevelopment of our services means we have state of the art paediatric theatres, daycare suite, outpatients department, high dependency unit with paediatric intensive care facilities for elective procedures, and a paediatric surgical/gastrointestinal ward.
