Overview
Our client, a fast-growing disruptor in the Fin-tech industry are looking for an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their team. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for all financial accounting responsibilities to ensure a robust financial and control environment is maintained, whilst also driving financial value within the business. Responsibility for preparation of month end consolidation for the Group Preparation of monthly/YTD management, reports/board packs Cash forecasting Preparation of annual Group and subsidiary financial statements, including cash flow statement and associated disclosure notes in accordance with IFRS. Assisting with the provisioning of information for tax purposes to external advisors and reviewing of tax computations for satellite offices and new territories Reviewing cost centres and department data which includes posting of transactions. Maintaining the fixed asset register Ensure compliance to statutory and investor deadlines Suggest improvements to month end reporting and close processes Responsible for VAT input and review Due to the large numbers of responses we receive, despite our best efforts it is not possible to respond to every application.
