Oliver James Associates Ireland is representing a Global Non-Life insurer in their focus to appoint a Senior Commercial Lines Actuary with Irish Insurance Market experience. Oliver James Associates Ireland is representing a Global Non-Life insurer in their focus to appoint a Senior Commercial Lines Actuary with Irish Insurance Market experience. This role will provide pricing support to the Commercial business units underwritten in Ireland. The commercial insurance products that fall within the responsibility of this role are mainly Casualty, Property, Financial Lines and SME. This key role will be highly visible, as you will have the opportunity to interact with and advise senior management in Ireland. Key responsibilities: Assist in providing the profit centers with the actuarial support they require Partner with local underwriting teams to provide actuarial advice and data-driven insights that will support underwriting decisions Support the development, alignment, and execution of portfolio strategies, working with home office and regional team Provide training and support for rating tools and portfolio strategies Actively involved in technical pricing tool development and enhancements, whilst considering local market requirements Work closely with local management to identify profitable new business and growth opportunities and take remedial action where needed Individual account pricing on large accounts and schemes Actively involved in technical pricing tool development and enhancements, whilst considering local market requirements Develop actuarial reports to help business effectively manage existing portfolios Please note, you must have Irish Insurance Market experience for this role Our client offers an excellent career growth strategy, alongside a strong work-life balance environment.
