Advance Commercial Equipment Ltd. is looking for Sales Assistants:


JOB DESCRIPTION


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Following all companies’ policies and procedures

2. Assisting in stock control and management.

3. Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.

4. Answering and resolving queries from customers.

5. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.

6. Dealing with customer refunds.

7. Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes inside and outside areas.

8. Dealing with and resolving customer complaints.

9. Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.

10. Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.

11. Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.

12. Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.

13. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

14. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

15. Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards and Stocking shelves with

merchandise.

16. Ascertaining customers’ needs and wants.

17. Recommending and displaying items that match customer needs and giving advice and guidance on product

selection to customers.

18. Welcoming and greeting customers.

19. Managing point-of-sale processes.

20. Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments.

21. Keeping up to date with product information.

22. Accurately describing product features and benefits.

23. Making suggestions to management for improved sales tactics and merchandising.

24. Performing any other related duties as may be required from time to time.

25. Service Schedule as required.


AUTHORITIES:

1. Reports directly to the Store Supervisor.

2. Authorised to work with confidential information.


RELATIONSHIPS:

1. Liaises internally with line managers and other staff as appropriate.

2. Liaises externally with suppliers, customers.
