Overview

SC Cleared Developer, Python, Django, Public sector (Outside IR35), SC Clearance. Our client's digital, data and technology team enables our client to make the best use of technology to promote and facilitate international trade, giving the UK a competitive edge in a free and fair global economy. Their current projects are key enablers in their ongoing Transformation programme to become a data-driven organisation. Main tasks/outcomes: An existing digital service needs to be transferred to a new improved version. You will be one of the newly appointed developers who will build the new software with the aim to release the service live to the public. You will be working as part of an agile team alongside a user researcher, Service designer and led by a product owner and delivery manager. There is an expectation that you will liaise with other developers to share tools and knowledge where needed. Some of the responsibilities will include: Day-to-day responsibility for working within the product team to support, maintain and develop services built and managed by the team. Work with appropriate members of the delivery team to build appropriate back-end infrastructure to allow the visual display of data on a web-based front end. Perform maintenance tasks as required for the accuracy and integrity of services built and managed by the team.Building web and mobile products to serve user needs. Look for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Essential: Valid SC clearance Extensive Python 3 expertise Experience in Django and Django Rest Framework knowledge Javascript, HTML, CSS, SASS Experience in interfacing - REST, SOAP Good database knowledge (PostgreSQL) Good oauth2 knowledge Is comfortable in TDD and BDD environment.
