Overview
The BC Executive finance team are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a reputable London housing association in the heart of London. Yes we are approaching uncertain times, however companies are still recruiting top talent. You will be collaboratively working with the finance team and wider business, to ensure the finance discipline is maintained throughout the association. You will also be responsible for the management and financial accounting services. Key responsibilities include: Interpret management accounts and budget reports and guide partner operational services on what this information means in relation to the performance of the operational service. Support and guide partner operational services when assessing all new business opportunities and their commercial viability. Advise colleagues of the financial consequences of business decisions and guide accordingly Collaboratively work with business leaders and budget holders to determine the parameters of service delivery and customer service protocols for your team Provide the team with professional advice and so that they achieve their objectives with confidence and within a supportive management framework Assess and report upon the viability of partner operational services' business plans Monitor operational service projects over time to ensure their continuing viability, leading on review, negotiation and/or restructure wherever necessary Work to achieve greater commercial awareness within partner operational services, liaising with the wider finance team to support this aim Ensure that an effective financial risk management strategy is in place for partner operational services Be responsible for the preparation of both management and statutory accounts for the organisation and the consolidated accounts You: A CCAB qualified accountant with experience of financial management at a senior level An experienced, inspiring and visible business manager Excellent communication experience across a wide range of audiences, presenting financial information in a user-friendly manner Strong commitment to customer service and overall service excellence Experience of financial/business planning An understanding of financial management within the housing / property sectors Direct experience of the housing sector/ property sector (desirable) Commercial finance background (desirable) If you are interested in the attached role please apply for immediate consideration.
