Overview
Head of Software Engineering Location: Leeds Salary: Competitive Fruition IT are in partnership with a leading, tech focused FinTech organisation based in Leeds City Centre who are going through a period of sustained growth and are looking for an experienced individual to take control of the management of the existing development team and help grow it further. This role calls for an experienced Software Leader who has previously been managing development processes based on Agile principles and has a good understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices. This position will see you providing excellent leadership to an Engineering squad with Technical excellence at its core. You will be flexible and able to wear many hats when required. Experience of Project Management would be a massive benefit to this position, this includes managing budgets, team holidays, contracts and recruitment. From a technical perspective any experience using Java or JavaScript development tech would be beneficial as well as cloud and containerisation, although this is NOT a hands on position coming from a technical background is a prerequiste of the role.
