Overview

A niche role with responsibility for managing the Resourcing and Development function in the business as well as supporting in generalist HR. Due to the nature of the business and the deliverable in this role the candidate MUST have worked within the Care Sector. Client Details A well established Care business who have rapidly grown employing approx 2,000 staff across the homes with the head office function based in Leeds. Description Your will be working as part of the wider HR function in order to manage to Resourcing and Development function reporting into the CEO. Part of the senior leadership team working alongside a HR peer. Managing a team of 3 Deliver and write resourcing strategy Responsible for ensuring the business recruits and retains top talent across the business in order to deliver within the care homes. Review resourcing policies and procedures, EVP, Gender Pay Gap, Modern Slavery Act. Ensure staff retention rates remain low reviewing leavers, timescales, induction and how to retain talent. Manage resources including working with care home Managers to look at agency spend, work force planning and recruitment best practice. Responsible for Employee Relations in the head office as well as supporting for appeals, grievances, complex casework as and when required. HR related projects as and when required by the business Profile Have previously worked in the CARE SECTOR - ESSENTIAL Have a strong Resourcing/Recruitment background with the ability to lead the function Have previously managed a team Have practising knowledge of Employment Law with the ability to manage caseload Have the ability to work in a fast paced business Have CIPD qualification - desirable Travel as and when required as part of the role Job Offer up to £50k per annum Car allowance Bonus scheme 25 days AL plus Bank Holidays Company pension Life cover
