Our award-winning client based in the heart of Milton Keynes is expanding its Business Analysis team and as a result, an exciting opportunity has arisen for two Junior Business Analysts to join the company. Working within the IT Department, the Junior Business Analyst will be tasked with overseeing the Software Development Lifecycle in order to facilitate the delivery of product development across a suite of solutions. Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering for suggested functional changes and business solutions Creating process flows to show the current processes ("as-is") and the proposed processes ("to-be") Assisting with internal business change, identifying potential new processes to help improve the efficiency of the business Conducting meetings with internal and external stakeholders Performing reviews on completed developments to ensure they meet the original requirements Performing document analysis to gather more information on requirements or processes Providing assistance to the developers and any other internal staff around development queries Participate in daily Agile Scrum Carry out research into a specific area and write up findings following investigation Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work Become a Subject Matter Expert within one of the company’s divisions, acting as a source of knowledge able to provide advice, or make decisions, on the direction of the product/s within that division Acting as a gatekeeper of good quality across multiple areas, including but not limited to capturing good requirements, ensuring development items have a good quality of information, ensuring Release Notes are informative and appropriate for the target audience. Essential Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills Good understanding of Microsoft Office Products Strong problem-solving skills Logical thought process Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Good active listener & research skills Degree educated Desirable Skills: A good understanding of Microsoft Visio Understanding of software development lifecycle and AGILE processes Experience taking on research projects Knowledge around the Healthcare, Social Care, and procurement sectors
