Job Title: Junior Marketing Data Analyst Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Salary: £21,000 to £26,000 DOE benefits Job Type: Permanent Job Reference: PH9885 This is a junior role - ideally you will have experience in programmes and software such as Google Analytics, Social Mention, Facebook Audience Insights, Hootsuite etc… be well versed in understanding data and have a good grasp of Excel and creating dashboards. This will be a full-time data focused role. Working as part of a small, but high-calibre Marketing team, this new role will provide dedicated resource to report on the day to day digital marketing activities to support the company in growing a profitable European estate. The role will provide the European marketing team with insightful data and information driving focussed and targeted marketing activities that will deliver high quality lead generation activities which in turn, will drive strong European business growth and awareness of the brand. Desired skills and experience: 6-12 months’ experience and a proven track record, particularly in a B2B environment A confident analyst with the passion for understanding the customer Experience of using analytics packages, ideally Google Analytics and others with a good overall understanding of web technologies and digital marketing Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively Meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving Credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills The ability to manage workload effectively, and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment No experience of SQL required Technical Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint Good to excellent customer communications experience Ability to relay analytical insight to internal stakeholders with various levels of analytical and digital knowledge and at all levels of seniority Responsibilities: With the customer in mind, analyse and track customer behaviour, identify changes and deliver insight and analysis to drive continuous improvements for commercial growth Work to deliver deeper insights about customer behaviour Provide ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns Understand the effect of different online and offline channels on customer behaviour, to create optimal channel strategies Involved in customer surveys, including designing questionnaires and implementing surveys to capture customer feedback and understand customer needs and wants, to guide business strategy Using reporting tools to monitor and report on performance (digital channels) vs KPIs and produce actionable insight that delivers significant, measurable customer and commercial benefit Analysing online user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys Identify and spot opportunities - take relevant steps to drive continuous performance and present key recommendations to stakeholders Monitor competitor marketing activities and outcomes, providing insights for future planning Providing ad-hoc analytics and reports as needed Wilde Associates is working in the capacity of an Employment Agency for this role
