Global Accounting Network are proud to be partnered exclusively with a multinational media communications company, who are a prominent leader within their field. Our client is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team based in their impressive London headquarters. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, exciting and dynamic team and would be a great step to progress your career. The role will be focused on supporting the Corporate Functions of the business and collaborating with different teams. There is extensive elements of business partnering, whilst also being responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis for Finance. Main Responsibilities: Working with senior management team to support strategic decision making; Identify financial and commercial risks and potential mitigations; Focus on monthly budgets and forecasts; Own, review and continue to update business cases; Element of data gathering and focus on financial modelling of new scenarios; Completion of month end and subsequent delivery of high-quality monthly management accounts and reporting, including headcount reporting, variance analysis and appropriate commentary; Assistance with internal and external audits; Ad-hoc project work. Skills required: Qualified accountant with experience in global company; Developing and delivering against business cases; Financial modelling/Project Accounting experience essential; Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, use of Power BI an advantage. Short notice period is highly desirable but not essential.
