Overview

This is an opportunity to work on a project involving a high profile client and will initially start as a contract for 3 months but could go longer. This role would ideally suit a former Investment Banking Analyst or someone that has worked at the Big 4 consultancy firms with an accountancy or strategy management background Our client is a small venture capital & private equity company based in London who work with exclusive major and niche clients and opportunities. Partnering with executive leadership and operating teams, the Financial Analyst facilitates and supports strategic / operational planning. As part of the larger Strategic Advisory Services team, this role is focussed on executing detailed financial models, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and Board-level presentations to further Project Binary’s strategic priorities. We are looking for an Financial Analyst, to based remotely on the client site on a Monday to Friday basis, who will provide strategic support across a wide-range of strategic and financial projects. This role requires a high level of collaboration with internal partners in various business units across the organisation. This position reports to senior members of the Strategic Advisory Services team. Basic Duties Build detailed financial models to evaluate strategic options Create executive-ready presentations to summarize key findings and recommendations Build operating plans for implementation across the business Provide support for Strategic Advisory Services, including strategy reviews, Board presentations, and other management meetings Collaborate with various management teams to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities Requirements At least 2-3 years of work experience that includes one or a combination of the following: Accounting, Management Consulting or Investment Banking experience within sports, TMT, leisure/hospitality or related industry practices Corporate development, strategy, business development, corporate finance, or FP&A experience in sports, TMT, leisure/hospitality Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills Superior quantitative modelling skills and an advanced understanding of accounting Significant project or work experience focused on modelling, strategy and project management Experience interfacing and presenting to senior executives and management teams Ability to distil complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with several deliverables under tight deadlines Ability to thrive and take initiative in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
