My client is a high-profile music/media company who are looking for a Finance manager to join their team based in King's Cross, About the Role The role: Delivering Management Accounts and reporting, to aid the business in decision making. Management of the Fixed Asset register. Manage the interface of accounting balances from joint ventures. To monitor and review changes in regulatory legislation for financial reporting and support the Financial Controller with the implementation and communication of changes within the Finance department. Responsibility for ensuring all Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed at appropriate frequencies. To ensure systems and procedures are in place and updated regularly to maintain compliance with VAT and Withholding Tax regulations. Responsibility for obtaining exemptions to minimise tax deductions. To oversee the production of regulatory tax returns in order to fulfil the companies' statutory requirements. Manage the Accounting team to ensure deliverables are met. About You You will be a qualified and accountant with 1-4 years PQE. Experience of UK GAAP reporting Experience and understanding of taxation (e.g. VAT, Corporation tax, Withholding tax) Ability to be pro-active on matters of compliance and control within Finance and the business as a whole. People management experience (teams of four or more people)
