Maintenance Assistant
Overview
Maintenance Assistant- Coventry - £18000 - £19000 Your new company You will be working as a Maintenance Assistant in Coventry in a higher education setting. Your new role You will be carrying out statutory testing if electrical and mechanical systems and carrying out basic repairs of these systems. You will support the electrical and mechanical technicians in the execution of their work. This will include Emergency Lighting Testing and Fire Alarm Testing. You will also respond to jobs via a notification system which may include re-lamping duties, basic fault finding, disposal of old equipment, and maintenance checks of vehicles. What you'll need to succeed You will need practical experience working within an electrical / building services industry or an NVQ in a relevant subject. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a starting salary of between £18000 - £19000 per annum. You will also receive 30 days holiday bank holidays. You will be working locally and not required to travel like many maintenance roles. You will also receive regular pay reviews, and learning vouchers to support your development.
