Overview
Acorn Recruitment is searching for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our client, a manufacturing business based in Coventry, West Midlands The purpose of the role is to ensure that the plant and machinery has high levels of availability and up time and operates in a safe manner at all times. Duties include carrying out mechanical preventative maintenance across the site. Respond to site machine breakdowns, troubleshooting issues and returning the equipment to production as efficiently as possible. Carry out overhauls on machinery. Completing remedial correctives in order to improve availability and reliability. Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support the planned maintenance system. Analysis of machine performance in order to define areas for continuous improvement opportunities. Candidates must hold a mechanical qualification and be apprentice trained. Must have experience carrying out mechanical maintenance tasks within an industrial manufacturing environment.
