Building Surveyor - Somerset & South West
Overview
Long term Building Surveyor required to deliver a programme of capital works across the South West Your new company As a Building Surveyor you will be joining a not for profit organisation who are have an aim of providing sheltered accommodation across the south west region, working from a head office based in Taunton. Your new role As a Building Surveyor you'll be responsible for the delivery of a capital works programme which has been designed to increase usability and standards of properties across the Somerset, Devon and Cornwall region. You'll be involved in creating specifications of works, appointing contractors and supervising works on site whilst ensuring that health & safety and compliance is managed accordingly. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position you'll need to have prior experience in the delivery and management of planned programmes of capital works on commercial properties, ideally accommodation buildings. What you'll get in return In return you will be rewarded with an initial six month interim contract, which is likely to further extend past this point. Alongside this you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of pay which is payable into a limited company, on a PAYE basis or into an umbrella company.
