Temporary Building Surveyor based in London Your new company An exciting opportunity to join one largest Housing Associations in the UK. They are a member of the G15, the largest group of charitable housing associations in London, and they house 1 in 10 people in London. Your new role They are looking for an experienced Technical / Building Surveyor to join their team on a 12-week temporary assignment. You will be working alongside other surveyors, consultants and contractors to deliver general property service duties including: regular inspections, diagnosing defects and being a point of contact for all residents. Day to day you will be carrying out condition surveys, compiling reports and providing recommendations for remedy defects. You will be responsible for verifying quotations and invoices for services provided by contractors. And you will also assist with management and planning of projects, ensuring works are completed to the groups requirements and expectations. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you must have a HNC / Degree in building (or equivalent). Previous experience both in surveying and the Social Housing Sector (either Housing Association or Local Authority. A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
