Overview

A UK engineering leader is seeking a time-served Senior Civil Engineer. Your new company Is a leading presence within the field, working on interesting projects all over the UK as well as abroad. This multidisciplinary consultancy is forward facing, with sustainability at the heart of their projects. My client is based in the heart of Edinburgh's City Centre, and close to both bus and rail links. Due to a period of growth, they are re-establishing their Civil Department. Your new role As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll be working on the design of minor infrastructure to accompany the Structural team. You'll be reporting directly to the Associate Director, and enjoy a degree autonomy in decision making with regards to the project. In this client facing role, you'll communicate with a number of stake-holders, including architects, clients, consultants and statutory authorities. What you'll need to succeed You'll have a UK Accredited degree in Civil Engineering, and have experience working in a consultancy environment. You'll have worked with software such as AutoCAD, Microdrainage, and WinDes, and experience of using Civil3D will be beneficial. As well as this, you'll be organised, a good verbal and written communicator, and be suitable for UK Security Clearance. What you'll get in return You'll receive a competitive salary, and bonuses.
