Overview
Experienced Locum Contracts Manager sought for a leading academic institution in Greater London. This is a fantastic opportunity for solicitors, legal executives and paralegals to join our client’s bespoke workplace in West London. Reporting to the head of research contracts, the successful candidate will provide a comprehensive research contract negotiation and management service, whilst proving to be reliable and keen on self-development. Responsibilities • Costing and pricing of research • Amendments and transfers from funders and collaborators • Drafting and negotiating research and research-related agreements • Reviewing draft agreements received from funders and collaborators • Ensuring compliance • Liaising with funders, collaborators and academic staff • Assisting with complex legal and contractual issues • Intellectual property matters • Development and maintenance of operational procedures and policies • Preparing new template agreements The Candidate • Solicitors, legal executives and paralegals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience • Solid experience in commercial contracts • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to work to tight deadlines • Experience of developing close and effective working relationships • IT proficiency The Firm Our client is a leading educational institution, located in West London.
