SME Account Handler, City, Salary up to £45,000, for an Independent Insurance Brokers. Your new company Your new job working as a Commercial Account Handler handling SME- Mid Corporate business will be for an Independent Insurance Broker based in the heart of the City. They have a long and distinguished heritage and have been providing insurance services and solutions for over 50 years, with offices based throughout the UK. They build strong relationships with their clients that allow them to fully understand their insurance requirements. Due to the growth within the company, a permanent position as an Account Handler has arisen to work on Commercial business. Your new role Your new job working as an Account Handler will be dealing with SME clients from inception to completion where you will be required to service your own portfolio of accounts, alongside a team of Account handlers and Account Executives. Your day to day duties will include dealing with renewals and new business risks as well broking into the composite markets, negotiating competitive terms with Underwriters and identifying new ways to increase the office's revenue. You will be handling SME - larger premiums ranging from £500 up to £150,000 . Other duties include meeting with clients alongside Account Executives to establish demands and needs. Preparation of all your own technical documentation via Acturis. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as an Account handler handling Commercial and or Property related risks, will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have previous experience in dealing with clients and be confident in your ability to negotiate competitive terms with Underwriters. Ideally, you will be a be professionally qualified or have progression towards CERT CII. And have experience in Acturis What you'll get in return You'll be offered a competitive salary of up to £45,000 plus comprehensive benefits package.
