Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager to join an excellent charity supporting people with Mental Health conditions and Learning Disabilities. This role will see you manage a small Supported Living service in Lambeth which supports Adults with Mental Health conditions. You will be well supported by a House Manager and Area Manager and would suit either an existing Deputy Manager or a strong Senior Support Worker who is looking to take that step up. You will be involved in all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training and development, performance management and motivating your team. You will be 'hands on' leading by example through the provision of outstanding levels of service to the people we support. You will be experienced at building relationships with the people we support and their families as this is vital in this role. You will have the ability to demonstrate your knowledge of person centred working & developing person centred support plans with individuals is also important. To be a successful Deputy Manager you will need to demonstrate: Experience of supporting people who have mental health conditions. Experience of mentoring/supervising/coaching others Person centred working & developing person centred support plans with individuals Enabling people with mental health conditions to take positive risks in their lives.
