Overview
My client are a global insurance broker with their London offices based in the City. Due to an internal expansion we are assisting with the appointment of a Control Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract. The main responsibilities of the role are to provide oversight and consistency around non-financial risk management within the corporation. You will work closely with the Head of Internal Controls to assist in designing and delivering robust, efficient, proactive and embedded operational control frameworks to ensure first line oversight of operations business areas through effective controls, monitoring, escalation and reporting. This is a controls focussed role and as such the most important requirement is that the successful applicant will have a strong grasp of risk and control and is able to articulate this. It is also imperative that they have strong communication skills so they can build a rapport with the important stakeholders as you seek to embed and deliver the message of the team across the business.
