Search Manager - Manchester Salary: 30K The Company Our client is an award-winning creative and marketing agency with a diverse range of clients including regional operators and well-known brands. From B2B to B2C clients, Their client base is varied, however, they largely work across the hotel, leisure, sport and education sectors. The Role Looking for a results-driven digital marketer with a detailed understanding of PPC and SEO (technical and on-page content strategy) channels to work across both our retainer and ad hoc client base to lead various digital marketing projects, as well as drive the continued growth of our retained client base. This role requires someone to be hands-on - monitoring daily performance of accounts and campaigns - as well as leading the strategy and coordinating between teams. Successful candidate will be doing SEO PPC work themselves rather than overseeing someone else so they must be comfortable doing this and able to provide evidence of previous success (preferable on CV). It is likely to be around 70% SEO/30% PPC. The role will be working with a handful of clients in good detail, getting to know these well rather than working with a large number of clients in small detail. Agency experience is preferable but candidates with client-side backgrounds will not be discounted if they have worked across multiple brands. Office currently has a team of 10 ranging across Graphic designers, Developers, Account Management and Marketing. Office hours: Mon - Fri 9-6 (early finish on Friday) - some flexibility if needed. Location: Northern Quarter, Manchester The person; Results-driven digital marketer with an understanding of various digital marketing acquisition channels, specialising in PPC and SEO. The successful candidate will enjoy working across a handful of clients together with the agencies new web presence. The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-motivated individual with 3-4 years experience including the management of successful digital marketing campaigns The role; To provide digital marketing support to the agencies retained client base both on an ad-hoc and on-going basis Manage and oversee digital marketing activity across the agencies client base Manage performance channels including Paid Search, Display, Paid Social Google Shopping Overseeing and contributing to reports across PPC, Paid Social, SEO and organic social results, relaying performance monthly and yearly. Contributing to pitches and new business Collaborating with the wider team including the studio and creative teams. Skills; Be able to think creatively towards solutions to problems for clients and be able to communicate effectively those solutions Commercially driven with the ability to seek out digital campaign value opportunities. Analytical with a strong attention to detail. Specialised in SEO (technical and on-page content) and paid media, as well as having an understanding of other marketing channels and how they impact the marketing journey Basic copywriting and content writing skills as these will be required to create basic landing pages for campaigns Minimum 3 years experience working in a digital marketing role - in-house or agency experience considered Basic HTML and CSS skills Competent using content management systems. Advanced Google Analytics Experience Experience using tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Keyword Planner etc. Google Tag Manager Skills are a bonus Google Shopping experience Must Haves; Evidence of managing successful digital marketing campaigns. 3 years experience in digital marketing roles SEO PPC expertise Benefits: Private Health Care 28 days inc BH Social events Running club Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
