Overview
Technical Engineering, Network Architect Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred BS, IS, CIS High degree of Network certifications Work Experience: 10 years’ experience in IT field area specialties Essential Duties: Strong Technical skills in switching concepts, Campus switching, switch stacking, routing technologies including NAT and redistribution, software & Hardware upgrades. Strong Technical skills in wireless Knowledge on SD-WAN is an added advantage. Provides domain specific expertise in architecture and design of network Provides in-depth knowledge in implementing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting increasingly complex networks designs Translates complex strategies and designs into infrastructure requirements Provide technical leadership to develop infrastructure network strategies and roadmaps Reviews enterprise architecture and makes recommendations Develops, sets, and recommends standards, guidelines, frameworks, and best practices for technical domains Partners with EA and functional areas to get buy in and build ownership for technical solutions Negotiates acceptable technical infrastructure solutions to complex problems Works and communicates effectively with all levels of management and technical communities Creates SOW’s for the implementation of network solutions Provides network solution estimates for schedule, time, and costs Collaborates with outside vendors, project managers, IT domains, and support teams abiding by cultural beliefs to work together effectively and efficiently in an agile environment to ensure successful implementations Works with multiple Tier 1 network vendors on a variety of products, services, and technology introductions Knowledge of network design concepts Experience with ASA, IOS, IPS, NAC, VoIP Experience with WAN technologies MPLS DMVPN Knowledge of network and compute virtualization technologies- VRF, VDC, VMWare Experience withHSRP, Spanning Tree, QoS, DNS, DHCP, Cisco Prime, Fiber zoning, TACACS & AAA, Cisco WLCs, load-balancing, and VIPTELA Experience with Cisco Nexus 7k, 6K, 5K, 2K architectures and implementations. Experience with F5 and Cisco load balancing architectures Working knowledge of firewall and web filtering technologies Fortinet/Cisco Internet / MPLS/VoIP /client-server architectures.
