Why this job matters This role in required as part of a best-in-class Consumer policy, process and projects team delivering a clear and effective acquisition credit policy and landscape. The role holder will provide support to the Senior Credit Policy Manager in leading key initiatives aimed at driving a reduction of churn and effective acquisition order journeys through the management of policy, processes and key internal & commercial projects. Responsibilities Define, deliver & monitor Acquisition & In Life Risk processes, policies and solutions across Consumer CFU Balance policy and process against internal and external customer experiences and journeys Manage trials & proof of concepts for emerging technologies & new developments relating to ID authentication and application fraud detection Deliver process improvements and improve customer journey specific to credit risk processes Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of the Acquisition & In Life Risk processes to senior stakeholders across the business Work on and be part of key internal projects and specific Acquisition & In Life Risk impacting commercial projects on behalf of the CR&F team Skills required Process improvement: Good understanding of process optimisation, including the importance of standardisation Leadership: Ability to lead virtual teams across CR&F to deliver a programme of initiatives to drive a step change in credit policy KPIs across Consumer CFU and Credit Risk Stakeholder management: Excellent stakeholder matrix management in a highly pressurised environment Project management: Ability to impact assess initiatives and support the development of robust business cases Analytics: Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent experience in a financial, statistical or mathematical specialism Experience Telecommunications experience; strong understanding of consumer credit risk acquisition & in life processes and standards across the industry - MANDATORY Automated/System driven Identity authentication and application fraud prevention experience including external data sources and solutions within a relevant industry (e.g. Retail banking) - MANDATORY Experience of delivering strategic objectives as part of a project team - MANDATORY Experience of delivering credit risk processes in a regulated environment - PREFERRED Project management and process-led business improvement experience - PREFERRED Please be advised if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
