Overview
A Senior carer is required to work within a lovely private care home based in the beautiful city of Oxford. Experience and training in care is essential, there are flexible hours available including early and late shifts. Rates of pay are from £11.36 upwards with enhancements for overtime and weekends. There are other benefits including pensions, uniform and additional training. As a Senior you will be shift leading on occasion and will be overseeing the wellbeing of residents and staff, you will be the first point of call for any emergencies. You will be welcoming visitors and making them feel welcome. You will be writing reports on the residents physical and emotional wellbeing, there will also be fun days out to attend with the residents. It is essential to have experience in care and hold an NVQ in Health & Social Care, if you have some care experience and would like to train up to be a senior this will be the ideal position to take your career to the next level.
